golden rose graffiti nail art 11

Hello :)
Today I'm going to show you another crackle from Golden Rose, but unlike the previous, this one is a metallic crackle! It's called Golden Rose Graffiti Nail Art 11 and it's a purple based crackle with golden glitter/shimmer. Since I've layered it on black for the swatch, you're not going to be able to see the purple in the polish. Here's how it looks :)

See you soon! :)

x marks the spot

Hello guys!
I'm sorry for the lack of posts. I've been extremely busy for the past few days as I'm running around and getting some school related stuff done. I'm going to say this now, just so that I don't write every time about how busy I am. Being the last year of high school has its downsides. Even though I'll finish a month early, I've got 4 finals coming up (which wouldn't be such a pain in the a$$ if they didn't include the materials from the previous three years as well). Anyways, enough about this, and let's get on with the post :)

Today I'll show you Gabrini Elegant 352. If some of you remembers, I've already shown you a color with the exact same name. I was actually quite surprised when I saw that I already own a polish with the same name and number, as I was sure I didn't have a similar color. This is one of the downsides of having numbers instead of names :( You can see the "original" 352 here. This one is way darker and I'm going to describe it as TARDIS blue (any fellow Whovians out there?). It's a creme, opaque in 2 coats and its drying time is normal.

And to make it even more fun, I stamped one of the patterns from the BM-203 stamping plate.

Base color: Gabrini Elegant 352
Stamping color: Golden Rose Matte 12
Stamping plate: BM-203

I hope you liked this. Have a good day!

i'm back + a cute mani :)

I know that I didn't write a short "see you soon" post, but what matters is that I'm finally back and ready to blog again. I was on a short trip to one of the most beautiful places in Macedonia called Mavrovo. Skopje didn't get much snow this year and I felt like I needed to chill out from the heavily polluted city for a while. My winter vacation ends tomorrow, so I start school on Monday. But I think that procrastinating will make me write even more posts :) What I have for you today is a really cute manicure. I think that I haven't done cute in a while :) But, first let me show you the base color I used.

It's called Rapsodi 313, a fairly new brand for me, though I've seen a couple of photos on some blogs. It's a very soft rose pink, not too bright and not too dark. Looks more purple in the bottle. This is 2 coats.

I didn't expect this color to turn out so cute and initially I wanted to stamp something on top of it. In the end, I decided to add a cute bow sticker.

See you soon!

31 day challenge: day twenty-seven - inspired by artwork

Hello guys!
Today I'm going to show you the 27th challenge and its theme is inspired by ARTWORK. I knew what I was going to paint even before I begun the challenge. It's inspired by Composition with Yellow, Blue, and Red by Piet Mondrian.

And here's the picture that inspired this manicure.

31 day challenge: day twenty-six - inspired by a pattern

Shame on me. I've been trying to finish this challenge for a while and here I am posting about it almost 3 weeks after the previous challenge related post. I'll do my best to finish it by the end of January.

Okay, so here's the base color I used. It's called Gabrini Elegant 307 and it's a bright almost neon pink cr‬è‪me. I'm absolutely loving this color :)

I was in a hurry so I stamped a zebra pattern on top using my favorite black polish - Golden Rose Matte 12.

Base color: Gabrini Elegant 307
Stamping color: Golden Rose Matte 12
Stamping plate: BM-223

Thanks for reading! Next up is inspired by ARTWORK.

a couple of greens and a blue

Hello everyone! Today I'm going to show you some green nail polishes and a blue one that I keep forgetting to post about.

Maybelline Mini Colarama Green Park is a bright mint green cr‬è‪me. It's opaque in 3 coats, which is not that bad, though I always prefer 2 coats. I've been wanting to buy this one for a while and I always ended up buying other polishes :)

Umbrella 132 (over Maybelline Green Park) is a glitter nail polish that is consisted of small fine green glitter. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. This is my first nail polish from this brand called Umbrella that showed up recently in Skopje's stores. I must say that I'm pleasantly surprised by the drying time and the quality. The glitter spreads nicely throughout the nail and gives nice coverage with only one coat. I noticed some other glitter nail polishes from this same brand and I'm happy to say that I'm going to buy some of them as well.

Avon SpeedDry+ Limeade is a pearly green polish. It's kind of sheer so I needed 3 or 4 coats for the swatch, I'm not quite sure. This wasn't such a huge problem because it's from the SpeedDry+ line, which means that the drying time is really fast so you don't need to wait long between coats. I must say that it looked way nicer in the catalogue and I'm quite disappointed with it.

Golden Rose w/Protein 329 is a teal jelly, opaque in ? coats. I added only 3 and you could still see the nail line, so I thought that even 5 coats couldn't make it fully opaque. However, the shade is really beautiful :)

some of my frankens

Hello guys! Today I'm going to show you a couple of old swatches of my frankens. I normally make frankens when a few polishes get almost empty so I mix them together and I get either something nice or really disgusting. I'm not going to write anything specific about them, just their names and their description :)

CONCRETE JUNGLE (a weird blue toned grey)

OCEANICA (shimmery turquoise with blue glitter)

DIRT (dark grey with a bit of holo shimmer)

GALAXY IN A BOTTLE (a black polish with holo shimmer)

STARRY NIGHT (the chunkiest glitter nail polish you've ever seen)

Well, I hope you liked them :)

essence colour & go blue addicted

Not so long ago I showed you one of the most beautiful glitters I've ever bought - Essence Make It Golden. At the same time I bought that beauty, I bought Essence Blue Addicted as well.

Essence Blue Addicted is a green and blue hex glitter in a deep blue jelly base along with some smaller square blue glitter. I didn't test it for opaqueness and layered it over a dark blue base instead. I did some cleaning around my apartment and accidentally chipped the polish, so I had to remove it. I was surprised by the easy removal of this polish.

Please don't mind my extra dry cuticles, I forgot to put some hand cream before I took the photos.
